Description
The Reolink RLC-520 ip-camera, although being a POE model, has three cables attached to it.
It's quite inconvenient to mount this camera with all those thick connectors attached to it. I didn't want to drill a 30mm hole in the wall.
I created this junction box which allows you to neatly tuck away the cables. It's been sitting on that wall for over a year now, and it still looks good.
Print two of the cable plugs which can be used to close the gap after inserting a cable (with rj45 plug attached to it).
Designed to use a 3/4" or 19mm pipe to feed through the networking cable.
Use two screws with plugs to mount the junction box to the wall. Then use the plate that came with the camera to close the junction box and attach the camera on it as shown in the instruction manual. It should be an exact fit, but this may vary from printer to printer.
Fits RLC-820A as well.
Small update 2024-11-12:
A user requested a step file for this project. I had to dig a little, but i think i found the original file. Please check if the step file is the same as the stl before using, because i'm not 100% sure if i found the correct file. Happy remixing!
