Description
I improved the original design because there was no space for a gasket between the tap and adapter. Now there is space for 20mmx3mm gasket that came with the tap. I also increased wall thickness at the tip of the adapter for extra strength.
I printed an O ring for the adapter from 95A TPU using two walls and two top layers at 0,2mm layer height to make it squishy enough, i think i used 20% infill.
Faucet_Connector_Gardena_Gasket02 from thing 5289793 worked fine for me as the O-ring. I added the model here on this thing page for ease of finding it, but i do not take any credit for the design.
I recommend printing the adapter from ABS or ASA if you run really hot water through the adapter, otherwise PETG should be fine. You may want to print two pieces at a time to allow the part to cool down between layer changes.
Fusion 360 file is included, although i don't have the paid license, so the outer skin is still going to be a mesh, which is a pain in the *** to edit due to the complex geometry.
Please also check my other designs to see if you can find anything else that might be useful. :)
