Description
My young son is always struggling with and losing the metal hitch clips that hold on the shell of his RC monster truck and rally car. I could not find any designs for them, so I made them up with his help. These work really well and stay in place, even when he drives the truck down the stairs, flips the truck, and otherwise “professionally stress tests” the clips.
They scale up really easily to fit larger uses (have not tried smaller) such as the axle on my log splitter (I will add photo later).
I also made a mold for bending filament into the shape of a hitch clip. I actually works ok. Just heat up some water (I boiled in microwave) and then flex the filament around the mold. Then run under cold water to lock in shape.
p.s. – I need a new nozzle.

Joke of the Design
Just a quick original joke to celebrate the posting of this new design (it helps if you have low expectations). This one is from my boy since this for him:
“What do you call a Squirrel with Rabies? Acorns!… I MEAN NUTS!”
