Description
• Reliably strong, -with long, reinforcing screws.
• Simple, straightforward design.
• Relatively minimal filament use.
• 5.4cm-opening for instrument necks.
• No supports, rafts, or brims required to print.
This design requires three screws to mount, -the top two being a minimum of ±12cm, -preferably 14-16cm. I thought since screws are being used anyway, why not use them as structural-reinforcement to safeguard against breaks? The holes are 5.2mm-wide, so make sure your screws will fit.
When installing, you can mark your holes with the tips of the screws themselves (-protruding out the back), then pre-drill at those locations a bit.
I will likely be adding a new version or amending this one in the future. Honestly, you could probably 'get-away with' using even less filament, and maybe increasing screw-size, or incorporating bolts instead, etc.. This took ±6hrs to print, and it would be nice to get one down to ±3hr.
-Thanks for looking.
∼Enjoy!
