Quick-Release Plate, Reversed, for FeiyuTech G6Max Gimbal

This is a modified or replacement quick-release plate for FeiyuTech's G6Max 3-axis stabilized handheld gimbal for cameras or smartphones and cell phones. This plate is reversed from the original plate, so the camera mount can slide more forward as needed for balancing.

With the original G6Max manufacturer-provided quick-release plate, neither my video camera nor my smartphone could be moved far enough forward for proper balancing on the tilt axis, because the camera mounting slot on the plate was not long enough in the forward direction. This design reverses the plate's slot positioning to allow mounting the camera or phone farther forward on the tilt axis (see photos).

The design also adds support material to compensate some for the use of plastic instead of the original plate's metal.

I am including the FreeCAD 3-D design source file I created, in case you want to make modifications for your own particular needs.
