Description
A half-moon rotary speaker "Leslie" control for Nord C1/C2 Organ, Nord C2D Organ, Nord Electro 5D/6D, and Nord Stage 3 Compact.
What you'll need to make one:
This enclosure
An Ernie Ball 3-way Stratocaster switch
Three sheet metal screws, Phillips flat head, #4 x 1/2", to attach cover
Two M4x8 conic screws to attach half moon to C2D
Suitable length of balanced mic cable (two conductors + shield)
A 1/4" TRS plug
Piece of felt (optional)
Anyone with basic soldering skills can make this. I used a zip tie as a strain relief.
Use a large drill bit to clean up the countersinks, if needed.
I glued a piece of felt to the back side as a finishing touch.
Total cost is about $35.
Should work on Crumar and Legend organs too with proper wiring.
