Router Circle Jig (printed in place, 30mm -> unlimited radius) by martin_au
This is a remix of the above file.
Designed to fit the baseplate of the Ryobi MTR-42 sold in Japan.
The original file is now deleted.

Use the original files Router_pivot.stl and Router_clamp.stl.
Router_baseplate_Ryobi_MTR-42.stl is the file I designed.

Is the original summary.

This is a circle jig for routers.

• It has very minimal hardware requirements, and requires just an m6 threaded rod (cut in two parts of equal length).

• You can pin the center pivot with either a screw through the middle (~4mm Ø), or with small nails (4x holes @ 2mmØ)

• It uses print in place cam locks that lock the cutting radius without changing t he radius (the cams don't contact the threaded rod, instead pressing on a flat plate, so that there is no back or forth movement when tightening them.

• It is able to slide under the router to enable cutting circles with a radius as small as 30mm (centre to centre). With a narrow bit, this could mean holes as small as 63mm across. as you're happy to go with m6 rods. I've been using it to cut holes with a radius of 30cm. The wide separation between the rods means it's stable and accurate even with larger radii. Use a countersunk screw for the pivot, to prevent it hitting the router guide.

• The hole layout is designed to match Makita base plates - specifically for their XTR01Z 18V router.

Print Settings

Printer Brand: Wanhao
Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus
Rafts: No
Supports: Yes
Resolution: 0.2
Infill: lots

Notes:
This is a print in place. Tolerances are fairly large (0.3-0.4mm), but because it's also printing large pivots it may still require some tweaking to get it to separate. The m6 clamps should free up really easily, but the cams may need a bit of shuffling. I used a scraper to get in between them and the outer plates to free them up.

The cams have large chamfers top and bottom to beef up the pivot. They can take a fair bit of force.
