Summary

For long time I have stopped using my Ecovacs DE53 model cleaning robot due to the reason where it was rotating in circles. A similar demonstration can be seeing below.

I have tried every thing which the internet mentioned such as

Cleaning Wheels,
Dismantling and reinstalling things.
Cleaning sensors.

It never worked, and the final conclusion was that the wheel needs to be replacement.

            <p class="detail-title"><strong>How I end up here...</strong></p>            <div><p>Strangely, everyone over the internet said that if the wheel is broken, the wheel can be turned without any traction. In the beginning it always felt the same, both left and right. So I was not sure what is the issue. Then recently it fell down from the rack in storage and here I found the wheel is rotating freely.</p><p>When I was looking for a replacement part I found few on ebay, amazon and the cheapest were 18 euros per wheel in AliExpress.</p><p>Since I have the 3D Printer, I thought, <strong>"How hard it can be to repair by myself!"</strong>. It might crack the casing.</li><li><strong>Be very careful when you are installing the wheel assembly back to the robot.</strong><ul><li>There is an End stop switch which ensures the robot wheel is extended or not. This is very fragile and I broke it. It was not hard to repair with some superglue.
