Skadis Mount for Flair Espresso Portafilters and Brew Chambers

This is a mount for the excellent Ikea Skadis pegboard which allows you to mount your Flair Espresso brew chambers. Stack the brew chamber all together on the portafilter as you would for brewing and just sit it in the ring!

The slots in the back of the models are derived from the excellent Universal Skadis mount design by CSD_Salzburg and my model requires two of their basic hooks to mount to the board. I'm including the hook model here for convenience/posterity. The hook model is not my work and is licensed CC-BY-NC. My models, based on a compatible CAD remodel of CSD_Salzburg's plate design by an anonymous OnShape user, is licensed CC-BY-SA.

The first model (v1) is the first prototype of the Flair Classic model. This one I printed yesterday and have had on the board and loaded overnight. The v2 is the soon-to-be-printed-and-tested improved version, a little less over-built and a little less stood-off from the board. The Pro2 model is the v2 with the inside of the ring expanded to 53mm to accommodate the Pro2 portafilter bottom. The Pro2 version also has a slightly larger outer ring diameter, to provide a bit more support to the heavier Pro2 head.

Note that this also means that the Classic-to-Pro2 black converter ring from upgradeable Classics also fits in this ring, so if you use both Pro2 and Classic brewheads with your compatible Classic, you can store the Classic brewhead with the converter ring in the Pro2 model! I have a Pro2 head and two Classic heads, so I'll be printing a couple of the Pro2 mounts and one Classic mount, if you see what I mean.
