Description

These are replacement parts for a 5 gallon collapsible water storage cube. These cubes are great for camping, but the valve parts break easily or get lost.

There are 4 parts:

Valve Handle A:

Direct replacement for the original valve handle, assuming the valve base is not broken.

Valve Nut:

Direct replacement for the original threaded part that attaches the valve to the container. Can also be used with the below 'B' valve.

Valve Handle B & Valve Base B:

if your original valve plug is broken/lost you will need to print both of these parts, which are a different design from the original. The original valve base design is not conducive to 3D printing, it would never seal properly.

General Notes:

Tolerances are tight the surfaces that rotate against eachother for the valve seal, may require some adjustment on your printer. I recommend adjusting the valve handle with horizontal expansion until it fits the base properly. Also recommend using a dab of silicone grease or petroleum jelly to lubricate and help it seal better.

Print Settings:

  • Printed with 3 walls and 30% infill.
  • Adjust horizontal expansion as needed.
  • Support recommended for Valve Base B only.
