BAND SAW FENCE INDICATOR

A replacement indicator for a bandsaw or other tool that has a similar guide. Simply screw it on with the screw that came with your bandsaw. I recommend a 20% infill. PLA is fine. PETG would be better on a heavily used bandsaw.

This was used to replace the indicator on my Craftsman 22400 bandsaw. The part JL20061008 is not made any more so i created a replacement. Use the dimensions to evaluate the possibility of this working on your saw -- perhaps with resizing on your bandsaw. I've also included the Fusion 360 Model if you want to customize it for your bandsaw. Check out the custom user parameters to get you started with basic measurements. There is a photo of the old part (JL20061008) to show you what this replaced.

The indicator has a slightly oval shape for the screw hole. This is so you can fine tune the accuracy. Set the blade a known distance from the fence. Then make sure that the indicator matches what is actually the distance. Once they are the same, screw it down tight.
