37.7mm dust port to 35mm shop vac adaptor

If you have a 35mm shop vac (like a Karcher MV4) and tools/jigs with identical or slightly larger dust ports (say up to 37.5mm or so) then give this a try to solve your dust port adaptation needs.

I originally designed it to connect my Toolex 12" disk sander to my shop vac...which is a common chinese-made model that's sold under various brand badges world wide. Have a look here to compare my "known compatible model" to yours:

The adaptor works well with it as intended, albeit snugly on the sander side... mostly to stop disconnections due to vibrations)... However, I made a discovery..

That when the adaptor is reversed, it connects my Kreg K4 pocket hole jig vacuum attachment to my shop vac. This works when the vacuum is inserted in the wider, disk sander end, up and into the throat of the narrower end. The outside diameter of the dust port on the K4 jig happens to be very close to the 35mm vac handle.

So did that stop me from printing a second one to stop having to move the adaptor between the sander and jig... of course not... but it's nice to know I can in a pinch. :-)

Anyway, I hope this helps, and if there's any other tools/vacuums that you find that it works with, please let me know so I can add a "compatible tools" list.
