Description

** DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT A TOY! IT IS INTENDED FOR TRAINING PURPOSES. ANY OTHER USAGE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. IT HURTS LIKE HELL **

This project is .68cal spheres intended for low cost accuracy training or aid in self-defense training, Either using LTL launchers or paintball markers it works.
Spheres are printed in halves with a peg to guide the gluing process.
Instructions are simple:
1.print the stl without supports
2. sand the bottom of the half spheres
3. apply super glue (cyanoacrilate based glue) onto any half and glue the guiding peg
4. Join the two halves using the same glue, apply some pressure and wipe off any excess.
5. if somehow the join was imperfect, give a sanding until the junction becomes smooth enough.
6. (Important) Using a caliper, measure the sphere. (between 0.67 and 0.685 its okay)
(Optional) Use a lower grit sandpaper to smooth the sphere. Smoother the surface, more predictable the trajectory.

For reference, Printed with 5 walls and 20% infill, 0.16mm layer height , 50mm/s.

Tested with PLA with a TiPX using 12gr CO2 cartridge:
direct impact at a cutting board with a MDF board behind: shattered the sphere with a noticeable dent in both cutting board and wood.
cutting board wrapped in a thick cotton cloth: warped the cloth and did a slight dent into the board, no visible mark on the wood.
