Qidi Tech Q1 Pro extruder release mod

For some reason they didn't include one in stock form. Maybe to make the printer more bamboooo like

print the lever. use a stiff filament and make it solid. I'm currently using PLA. If that doesn't work I'll update this. Something like PC would work great, and if you're looking at Q1 mods, you can print PC

the shafts are 3mm. Either print the 3mm version and drill/ream to size or print the oversized versions.

you'll need to cut out part of the extruder. Don't cut the window all the way. Leave a 2mm lip at the bottom

If you don't want to do all that, there's another way to cold pull. Take the stock lever and trim the corner off like the picture shows. You'll still need to trim the extruder housing and outer cover, but about half as much compared to the external lever. Now you can stick a smallish screwdriver into the newly made notch and give it a twist. Your filament will release
