How to Build Filament Shelves:
This is a modular system that interlocks rows of stabilizers with rows of shelves.
If you are only going to have a single column of shelves, then you will not need any stabilizers
Rows of stabilizers start with a half panel and end with a half panel. These two half panels count a one full panel.
In this example we will demonstrate how to construct a bank that is three columns wide.
Do not use supports when printing. Specialty supports are designed into the models (a nod to Rick and Morty).
Bambu Lab users should have presets of: No Brim, No Supports, Sparse Infill Density 5%, Wall Loops 2, Top Shell Layers 5, Bottom Shell Layers 3. These settings will save filament and reduce print times while keeping them strong.
Start by printing two half and two full stabilizer panels with cutouts
Assemble the panels on the surface you plan to build your shelves.
Note: One side is convex, and the other side is concave. Some accessories require the convex side down, so we recommend you start with that orientation.
Half panels will start and end the base with the widest sides of the half panels on the outside edges of the base. The full panels need to be placed in such a way as to line up the half squares in the waffle pattern to make whole squares.
Print three shelves and place them on the stabilizers. Continue adding rows of shelves. We recommend adding another stabilizing row after each five rows of shelves. We also recommend a stabilizing row after the last row of shelves.
