Portable Carbon Fiber Mast Mount for Ham Radio - For Molle Gear - Fits Lil Dude 6 - Tacticool Radio -

08/31/1025 - I uploaded the new "Mast Retention Clip", made/remixed by KC3WOA. This clip adds two push clips, allowing you to secure your mast mount and press the clips to unsecure/release it from the retention clip.

What did I remix? I brought the inner walls (36.3mm), in so that the Lil Dude 6 mast will snap into place and in theory, I could operate tacticool ham radio from my bronco, with the tailgate open, without having to bring my bulky flag pole / trailer mount. UPDATE: Operating tacticool from the Bronco was not good.. This will work very well to hold a mast on these Molle panels, but there's too much stress on the part, when deploying the wire and using this as a mast holder.

Nox the Fox was kind enough to provide this free for remixing. I will be happy to also change the ID of the mount, so it fits your mast, I just need the OD of your bottom section of mast (if you need help, otherwise, the design file included.

I printed with the following settings:

ASA Filament, 6 outer walls, 80 percent infill, Both objects flat on the ground with supports enabled (I Used Trees), a smile (Optional)

Bambu X1C.

(Update: Going to test with two. Works great as a mast holder, but I want to deploy it in the air. when doing so, the clips holding the cinch straps broke).
