Description
While following the course Learn LVGL: Build GUIs for the ESP32 Cheap Yellow Display (touchscreen Display) from https://randomnerdtutorials.com/learn-lvgl-esp32-ebook , I decided to design a practical 3D printed box for housing the Cheap Yellow Display
(ESP32-2432S028R). On Thingiverse there are already quite a few designs available however I like the challenge to make one myself. So here is the resulting CYB for a CYD.
It has the following features:
• 5 different landscape positions and 3 different portrait positions
• possibility for stowing the touch pen
• access to the RST, BOOT buttons, openings for the LRD and LED
• slots for a micro-SD card, the USB C connector and the extended IO and RX/TX connections.
For mounting the CYD board in the box, four 3x6mm self- tapping screws are used with a plastic/rubber washer (approx. 2mm height) and four 2x10mm screws to fix the bottom part.
There is also a flat bottom part available.
Needless to say that you can print the design in any colour that you like. Have fun!
