Description
ok, so this is really weird, and sadly I don't have many photos of it, but I know it did exist!!!!!
Please note the photo of the actual mortar is just a very similar one, there were many slapdash designs of these, i'm just basing my design off of written acounts and photos.
So...
in the civil war, the JMIRR was a somewhat significant railroad, as it could transport troops and weapons from indianapolis to the ohio river to the be transported to the front. One of such weapons was a small cart that had a mortar mounted to it. This car somehow ended up in the possession of the JMIRR after the war and just kinda was set aside for a while. However, in the 1880s knuckle couplers became popular, but the JMIRR never fitted Rueben wells or the Bright with knuckle couplers (Idk, its amazing this story even survives) so they took the mortar off the cart, fitted one side with knuckle couplers, and put a water tank and handrails on it along with a pipe to help feed the engine. it was weird.
However, that's the later modification of this, I just know that yall wanna shoot stuff, am i right? (Naw fam, i get ya)
I've also uploaded the converter car version, the plain mortar, and the link and pin couplers aswell.
