Description

This is a remix of the excellent original model by ok1cdj. I changed:

  • slightly longer case by a few mm
  • I use M3 inserts for the screws
  • added a cover that slides on
  • no screws in the bottom - instead three 12x2mm magnets and a more annoying to print base (bridge with pla or use supports I guess)
  • little printed M4 washer for in between the roller bearings. I found a regular M4 washer was too large.
  • the paddle mounting point and center use 4mm brass tube with M3 screws. This is not necessary but nicens up the whole thing.

Hardware needed:

  • 2x Bearing 604-2Z or 604-Z 4x12x4 mm
  • 3x Magnets 12x2mm
  • 2x Magnets 5x2mm
  • 2x M3 screws 16mm or so
  • 2x M3 screws 8mm for adjustments
  • some M3 washers - top of bearings, a couple (2-3) at the bottom of bearings, one at the bottom of center contact
  • 3.5 mm audio socket
  • some foil or sheet for the contacts or just solder the wires and glue them on. (I used some nickel but thats far from ideal. use what you have around)
  • wires - duh!
