Description
Some accessories that can be used with a naked (stripped down) Runcam Thumb Pro 4K W to allow mounting on various whoop canopies using a rubber band (while giving a little protection against damage/SD card ejection)
I used the small whoop mount to make a 4K recording 65mm whoop:

Obviously it didnt fly amazingly, but it does fly and can be used in a pinch. It flew a lot better on a 75mm 1S whoop :)
The second mount is specific to the Newbeedrone Beebrain canopy. You can use rubber bands with this too, but it provides fairly decent friction fit without it. I guess it would come off in a big crash, but i suspect you will have bigger issues in that case.
The case is a remix on this one https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5595541
The Thumb pro PCB holder/cover also includes a small part of another design i found, but for some reason i cant find the source at the moment
In the pics you can see the piggyback pigtail i made so i can quickfit this thumb pro to any whoop i have. There is a tiny 5v regulator inline... I got it with an AKK camera, i see a very similar product sold separately https://www.akktek.com/products/accessories/akk-voltage-step-up-regulator.html.
I am using this ND filter adapter (10mm) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5913343
Overall, with the minimal mount, rubber band, pigtail and stripped thumb pro it adds 13.0g to the whoop, which is entirely doable. This is about 5-6g saved on the full thumb with a normal holder/mount.
There are plenty of videos showing how easy it is to strip the camera. I have a button which i printed in clear TPU, and fed the arms through the old screw holes to center it while i put heat shrink over the main part of the PCB (with a hole for that button)
