I have a Garmin dash cam mini 2. It sticks to the windshield with double sided tape.

What if I wanted to remove it?

I designed this little pocket to hold the Garmin base. So I can stick my little holder to the windshield with double sided tape and now I can slide the Garmin mount in and out. It holds the camera steady. But you have to get all the double sided tape off of the base so it will fit into the holder.

I made 2 different widths of the pocket. One is 3.25mm’s wide and the other one is 3.50mm’s wide. In case you can’t get all the double sided tape off. I discovered they slide easier if I put a piece of scotch tape over the old double sided tape spot.

My truck is in the shop right now so I don’t have any pictures of this installed.
