Description
Table clamps to hold a cross country ski for waxing. Tested with NNN and Salomon SNS Profile Style bindings. Bindings latch to the center support. Pivoting supports are positioned under the tips and tails of the ski. Irwin Quick-Grip clamps are used to hold the ski supports to the waxing table. Perfect for casual skiers who wax their skis a handful of times per season and have an abundance of bar-clamps or c-clamps in their basement.
Used EZ-LOK 1/4-20 insert and 1/4-20 X 1.5" socket head cap screw to connect the toe clamp to the base of the center support. The toe clamp should be screwed in far enough so that the ski needs to be flexed ~1/8" down to engage the binding.
Pivot axes for the tail supports were 3mm stainless steel rod cut to length and driven in with a hammer.
Printed all parts on a Bambu A1 with PLA at 35% infill, 4 wall loops, and 5 top/bottom layers.
