Description

Just extract all scad files to the same folder, try the x8.scad and tweak the variables.

This is a development base if you want to code a one way bearing to a specific robot.

  • rollers from 3 to unlimited number
  • slope and straightness adjustable
  • conical form adjustable from barrel / hourglass / straight bearing
  • You have to manually adust the rotation and the dimensions of the bearings to fit your wishes.
  • I will code another version so check for a v2

Sprocket gear code goes up to line 70... (uncomment line 66 67 to print gears)
One way bearing code from line 70 onwards.

instructions for coding:
adjust $fn to 20 to render fast, also adjust num-segments at 5
Diff ... makes the rollers conical 2 / 0 / -2 = hourglass / straight / barrel bearings
roller-orbit - is how far from ctr they are
irace-adjust-rot- rotate bearing to view
irace-strength give the width of the race elements

With the above variables, you can adjust most of the essentials of the bearing.
I printed a test 4cm diameter and the performance with ABS was lacking, so it's a prototype code.
