Description
This is for a 4runner generation 4 with the center console as pictured.
I removed / relocated the hazard flasher switch.
I found a TOYOTA vertical orientation hazard switch from a HIACE that fits in the center or driver's side empty plug holes to relocate the hazards.
Toyota part number 84332-26120 for hazard switch. I found from Japan for about $30. Might be able to order locally with part number.
Also CH4X4 has custom switches with an option for hazard symbol and what ever text label you want for about the same price.
-----The Toyota switch has a different connector but same wiring. 2 pins for the switch and 2 pins for the lighting. Just look what pins lead to the light bulb on the switches. There is no polarity on the lights or switch. I will add photos and wire colors later.
Other option is just drop the original hazard switch into the 'whatever' storage at the bottom of the center dash console.
Tapped into the power socket in the center arm rest / shifter area with a PD delivery PCB mounted in center arm rest, hidden inside.
I got the 12V to PD USB PCB on Amazon and included the case to mount the PCB in.
Or if you do not mind the visible wire, just plug into whatever USB plug you have.
The wireless phone charger is from Amazon and uses the standard size ball mount.
NOTE; the ball mount has to be on the LOWER half of the phone holder.
The PRINTED BALL MOUNT has the hole goes about halfway up into the ball.
BE SURE TO USE an M3 SCREW THAT IS LONG ENOUGH TO GO INTO THE BALL AT LEAST 1/3!!!!!!!
The ball stalk is thin and WILL SHEAR off if you do not have the extra strength of the screw.
The hole is sized to slip a USB C cord through and then lock into place with the bushing.
You can size the hole in the bushing to match the diameter of the USB cord you use.
