Surface Shield Aerosol Can Refill Recharge Adapter

This is a very niche thingi. For those of you who use Surface Shield in a can to protect your vehicle from rust, you know that a third or half of the can is unused because it runs out of propellant. Frustrating! All of the bad reviews regarding Surface Shield mention this as the only negative with the aerosol cans. The aerosol can refill adapters on Thingiverse or Printables do not work with the Surface Shield can. You need an adapter. This is the adapter, only.

WARNING: Use at your own risk. I do not recommend refilling aerosol cans. It can cause serious bodily injury or death if done incorrectly. If you don't know what you are doing, just don't do it. Do the research and heed all of the warnings.

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS/TIPS: First, make this aerosol can refill adapter by WAO with 95A TPU (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5086024). Make my adapter out of a hard plastic, PLA or PETG work fine. Since my adapter is so small, print very slowly with high fan or you will just get a blob of plastic. Alternatively, print 4 with a raft to allow it to cool between layers. That is what I had to do.

Slide my adapter into the aerosol refill adapter by wao. Voila. Use to refill your Surface Shield aerosol can to use up all of the Surface Shield product. I used 60 psi. Surprisingly, there was at least a third or half of the product left in the can and I was able to almost coat the second half of my truck with the product remaining in the can. What a waste, for a good product. Surface Shield needs to fix this so we don't have to use this dangerous hack.
