Blower fan tool with the special key (Volvo, Land Rover, Range Rover)

Blower (like Mahle AB 116 000P) fan assembly requires special tool. 4pc 5mmx100mm tread-rods for the pins and c1mm long reinforce for the nut. Better use 8.8 hardness. The pins needs to thin to ~4mm on for the length of 10mm (just file the treads off). The pin extension out from the bottom surface should be 20mm.

Though, I don't see benefit for carpet removal but white bracket is better take out.

With the key you don't need assistant just press key in and remove the blower.

At least Volvo cars with dashboard display (e.g. XC60 & V70 2011 on-wards) requires special trick. There's no room to release blower lock by hand.

On V70, push ruler through under the ventilation pipe. If you have endoscope camera follow orange thick cable. When you see white dot the go there, you'll find lock latch.

Place the key on the top of long ruler (or similar), guide key in to place, push key fully in. Locking is released. (Tip of the day: Put some thread on the key if it drops in). Power cable is just long enough that it can be remove after blower is released. Removing the blower shouldn't need extensive force. Installation, you should hear click.

No support needed when printed orientation of main picture. 4 wall layers of PLA makes strong enough.
