Description
CREDIT TO BOB_MACK for the Lynx Helicopter: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4147691 (I had zero desire to model this at the end).
This was a ship requested by a friend of a friend. Searching the internet, as always you can get .obj files for $$$ but why buy a model when you can work for pennies and make it yourself - sorta. To create this model I referenced primarily Paul E.'s rendition over on britmodeller.com. Other sources include an Atlantic Models instruction manual providing me with plan, elevation, and section views of Phoebe's Hull (albeit with her original configuration).
Overall this took me approximately 40-60 hours over the course of 4-6 months as I slowly chipped off a bit of structure and outfit here or there. The 1:133 scale I used a section of railing and printed ~50x of them to round the ship. Spare pieces were used for the mast/antennas.
Overall this project was a good experience in tree management, primarily saving my outfit as separate bodies so I was not deleting everything after I exported it to an .stl. All original files are provided. Please feel free to modify as you see fit.
