Description
Do you by any chance have a spare AMD CPU from the AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 / AM3+ / FM2 / FM2+ / AM4 socket and do you wish you could display it anywhere? Well, now you can with this cover for the cpu block of the Be Quiet! Pure Loop 3 LX! This cover goes right on top and makes for a truly unique pc build. Just imagine the cpu on the cooler on top of the cpu! Guess it would make it a dual-cpu pc? Or even a pc with a cpu cooled cpu? Well, it doesn't really add function, obviously, but it does look hella cool, of course! The cpu snugly pressure fits in easily and can also easily be taken out again. Just be careful with those AMD pins! Besides that, the cover doesn't need any assembly, you just need to take off the supports. By the way, if you're wondering, the render was made with Fusion 360. Now have fun with it!
Recommended settings
Layer height: 0.20 mm or less
Infill: 100%
Material: ABS/PETG/PLA (I used PLA)
Supports: Tree Supports
Important note!
Do NOT print it on the top side, as the surface is convex.
Also
The cpu used in the pictures is the AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ from the AM2 socket. Had this lying around :) I also have an AM4 cpu, the 5600G, but that's in my personal desktop pc build.
Last thing
I don't really have the cooler this was made for, therefore I only have photos of it outside of a computer. Still rocking the stock AMD cooler! It could use some replacing :)
