KEYCHRON B6Pro - keyboard Holder / Stand / Elevation / Protection.

Had to replace my FULL SIZED KEYBOARD, finally found one that works well and has all the keys I am used to. Issue was I use my keyboard on my lap a lot, so it falls, sometimes. This ia a bluetooth wireless device, so a bit pricy, for me anyway. I felt protecting it with some "keyboard-case" (like a phone-case) will help. Also, the one issue I have with it is the shallow typing angle.

After a few itterations and changes I came up with this "keyboard-case" that suits my needs and fits well on my lap.

I include the file, B6PRO-CutOut, which is a pritty good model of the keyboard itself. I used it to cut the keyboard profile in my model. Feel free to use it in your model should you prefer a different angle or setup.

I opted to split the print into three parts to fit my 200 x 200 printbed. The three parts are put together with M3 x 20mm LN-Head Cap screws. You need at least four, but there are six possible fatening spots. Use a hex key at a slight angle to tighten the screws up. In petg the 0.8mm holes are self tapping and work perfectly.

This was printed in army brown PETG with a 0.5mm nozzle and 0.24mm layers. I used 1mm walls with alternative extra wall and 12% infill. Myne already had one pritty hard fall, and after recovering from the panic, I found everything in tact. I used 3mm wide brim that was 0.8mm away from model with a 3mm high draft shield 0.8mm away. Its a big print so elephants feet is a real posibility. Also be sure to enable normal supports. They remove easy enough, but make sure you remove it all and scrape or sand off any left overs, should there be any. The keyboard fits pritty tight into the side slots to prevent it from falling out of the case. The silicone cover still fits very nice on top, even with the case installed. Install by combining the middle and LEFT side with two or three bolts, nicely tightened up. Then slide the two parts from both sides in carefully, then install the last bolts to finish.
