Description
Cheap to order but here (Canada) no stock and Ridgid support doesn't seem to respond. There was another online, but it sat too close to the inside, and blade shorter so decided to make my own.
Original - As close to the original fan as I could make it.
Upgrade - Same fan, except I added curves to all the inside corners for extra strength, as well I added sides to the mount on the back so it fits onto the motor shaft better without slipping.
Upgrade Rev2 - Same as Upgrade, except to make printing much easier, I eliminated all the ridges on the back and make it smooth. Still sits as far from the wall as the original just smooth.
It does fit, but definitely need to get just the right angle to get it in. Once in, push in and turn slowly until it pops into the groove on the back, then bolt it in.
Given how strong the original was, You will probably want to print this with strong filament and a dense infill. I'm trying with PETG, with 5 walls and 20%. Seems strong, I guess I'll find out once I finish fixing the planer (motor shaft isn't centred and too far left, causing the first fan to melt and break).
