Vent Cover for Anycubic Photon Mono M7

This cover was designed to avoid the UV-light to leave the machine through the side vent. This was something that annoyed me when using the printer for the first time. I am working right next to it and am also using resin there that I don't want to be cured. The chevron shaped baffles prevent a straight line of sight inside (or outside). There is still a bit of reflection but I'm now feeling safe to work next to it.

The cover is built from two parts. A base, that gets screwed to the printers vent and the actual cover that snaps into the base. To mount the base, place it on the cover and align it so you can attach it using four M3 x 6 mm screws. You can directly drive them into the printers vent without cutting a thread.

The vent cover has more open area as the original vent to allow for sufficient airflow. But I didn't do any simulations to validate that this doesn't restrict the flow too much, so use at your own risk.

You can print both parts without supports placing them with the largest surface on the print bed.
