Description

I provide all my 3D designs for free but if you want to contribute send me a tip. 😊 A modular system to replace the rear boomerang on the King Song F18 to give you more space to position your rear pads. Handles Kickstand Kickstand Bottom Cover Inserts for the Kickstand to add some color (Optional) Splash Protector (Optional) This design uses the screw holes that was meant for the speakers thus you can not use the speakers together with these parts. The handles have small pockets where you can hide the speaker cables. The splash protectors are optional but recommended, it protects from dirt spraying up the sides of the motor where there is no mudguard coverage. If you don't use the splash protector you can use the screws that was included for the speakers, if you want to use the splash protector you need to get longer M4x12mm screws and I also recommend putting OD 9 washers on them. The inserts for the kickstand is optional but makes it so you can add some color if you like (see photo), I put a dab of E6000 on them to hold them in place. I printed the Handles with PETG-GF (Glass Fiber), you want these to be stiff and durable. My print settings for the Handles: Layer Height: 0.25mm Line Width: 0.5mm Walls: 4 Top/Bottom Layers: 6 Infill: 15% Cubic Supports: Tree Supports I printed the Handle Bumpers with TPU95A and glued them onto the handles. My print settings for the Handle Bumpers: Layer Height: 0.25mm Line Width: 0.5mm Walls: 2 Top/Bottom Layers: 3 Infill: 8% Gyroid Supports: Not needed I printed the Kickstand with CC3D TPU72D, I wanted this part to be stiff, durable and yet be able to flex a bit in case the kickstand hits something. My print settings for the Kickstand: Layer Height: 0.25mm Line Width: 0.5mm Walls: 3 Top/Bottom Layers: 6 Infill: 13% Cubic Supports: Tree Supports Brims: I also put (painted) brims in the corners of the object for improved bed adhesion. I printed the Kickstand Bottom Cover with CC3D TPU72D. My print settings for the Kickstand Bottom Cover: Layer Height: 0.25mm Line Width: 0.5mm Walls: 3 Top/Bottom Layers: 4 Infill: 10% Cubic Supports: Not needed I printed the Kickstand inserts with TPU95A. I printed the Splash Protectors with PETG-GF (Glass Fiber). My print settings for the Splash Protectors: Layer Height: 0.25mm Line Width: 0.5mm Walls: 3 Top/Bottom Layers: 4 Infill: 15% Grid Supports: Tree Supports
