Description
The idea for a stopper for Kato’s Unitrack is anything but new. Wapata made one and published at Thingiverse:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:147963
But I wasn’t satisfied with, as it stops the rolling stock with the coupling and lacking of a 2nd unijonier it also isn’t fixed as I though it should be. Using the remixing MrKit’s insulated Unijoiner
https://www.printables.com/model/1269359-kato-unitrack-insulated-unijoiner-alternative-nho
I created the “stopper of my dreams”, better to say two of them, one larger, protecting to profile of typical wagons and a very minimalistic one.
Having this done I created also two European style buffer stops, bumpers, bumping posts, bumper blocks or stopblocks (so many English words for just the German “Prellbock”). Just in case.
Hope others have use of it.
Please note:
KATO’s Unitrack is the first and only choice in n-scale for mobile layouts and one of the best track systems in general:
