2026-03-26: I have uploaded a new version of the cushions in case you have the latest batch of F18 or if you installed their updated side plates which lowers the suspension rods, King Song also provides new cushions but they block access to the adjustment knobs so you have to take them off for adjustments and I prefer to have it easily accessible.
Custom Side Cushions for the F18, to replace the stock ones from early batch, compatible with early (and later) batches of the F18.
The stock side cushions are made of a hard foam material and they protrude a bit outwards which can be uncomfortable for your legs.
This design is based on the latest (time of writing) version from King Song however that version is not compatible with early batches of the F18 due to different height on the suspension rods that sticks out on top so the new cushions will not retrofit on early batch F18, this custom version has 2 holes for the suspension rods and adjusters.
You can just pop them in place but you can also put thin double sided tape to secure them further.
WARNING: When you remove the stock cushions chances are high that they will crumble and break apart which happened to me, so consider it an irreversible procedure.
I printed these in eSun TPE 83A for softness and I use a 0.6mm Nozzle.
