Ice scraper for paint roller handle

Based on https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:23903 Paint Roller Stick extender, I modified this to use as an ice scraper when my existing scraper broke. I had planned on doing this at some time and designing my own threads, but marcsulf's extension was perfect for the job. This allows the use of a longer handle for added reach, or a smaller handle for easier storage.

Can try PLA but I printed with PETG and it holds up great. PLA would likely be too brittle, but feel free to try. Plus, if your printer can handle it, you can use PLA or PETG for the scraper portion then switch to TPU for the handle adapter.

For ultimate strength you can use PETG with 100% infill and then do salt annealing. This can get close to injection molded strength.

2026/1/1 - added second version with more acute angle, and resized both scrapers for better fit on handles. You can take a look at (and print) both and see what works best for you.

2026/1/26 - Added wider versions (initial versions are 125 mm wide, new versions are 180 mm).
