Description
These are variations/updates of my Raspberry Pi case OpenSCAD designs, where the options are more easily controlled using the OpenSCAD Customizer window.
One of the designs is for a two piece case (from V5 at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7076174), where you configure the case and select a top cover option.
The second design is for a modular case (from V5 at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7159499), where many different parts of the case can be configured with options for SSD, DAC/DSP, AMP2, AMP4, eHat, 2.7 inch and TFT, 3.7 inch TFT.
Common to both of the designs is the ability to easily choose the following:
1. Raspberry Pi model, e.g. 3B, 4B or 5
2. Cover type, e.g. no fan, 30mm fan, 40mm fan, etc.
3. Case thickness, e.g. 2-5mm, where default is 3
4. Two lines of personalized text annotation
It is deliberate that NO STL files are posted here. Instead, pick one of the design files and open it in the freely available OpenSCAD program (runs on MacOS, Linux and Windows). The configuration options are then set within the 'Customizer' window, with no need to modify any code. Note that there are 'render' flags that can be set or unset in the Customizer window to control the specific components that are to be rendered, where you can then generate the desired STL file.
I anticipate that where initially V6 files are posted here, new versions will be posted in the future to reflect additional configuration options. See the links to the V5 designs listed above to see more details on these cases.
