🇬🇧 Print Settings (Practical & Tested)

This nutcracker does not need to be a solid block of plastic.
In practice, the following settings work perfectly:

Material

PLA is fully sufficient

PETG / ABS also work

Settings

50% infill

3–4 perimeters (walls)

0.2 mm layer height

Good layer adhesion is more important than extremely high infill

Supports

Tree supports

Maximum branch angle: 35°
This is sufficient for clean support where needed.

With PLA at 50% infill it cracks without issues:

✔ Large hazelnuts
✔ Walnuts

Almonds are not suitable for this design.
