Claratech AQM9 Air Quality Monitor Enclosure

Summary
This is the official 3D-printable enclosure for the Claratech AQM9, Air Quality Monitor. Designed for a sleek and functional fit, this housing safely encloses the sensors and electronics while allowing adequate airflow for accurate environmental readings.

Included Files:
This design consists of 4 parts, completely optimized for FDM 3D printing:

  • AQM9-R1-250818 - body.stl: The main housing that mounts the PCB and sensors.
  • AQM9-R1-250818 - lid.stl: The snap/screw-on cover to seal the back/top of the device.
  • AQM9-R1-250818 - buttoncap.stl: A small, custom tactile button cap to interact with the device's switches.
  • AQM9-R1-250818 - diffusion plate.stl: Designed to be printed in light gray filament to smoothly diffuse LED indicator lights.

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Material: PLA recommended.
  • Resolution: 0.2mm layer height for a good balance of speed and surface finish.
  • Infill: 15% - 20% (Grid or Gyroid).
  • Supports: No supports required for the lid and diffusion plate. Check your slicer preview for the main body—minimal supports may be needed depending on your printer's bridging capabilities.
  • Special Note: Print the Diffusion Plate in clear, translucent, or light gray filament to ensure optimal LED light dispersion.

Assembly Notes:

  1. Mount the electronics and sensors inside the main body using M3 self tapping screws.
  2. Fit the buttoncap into its designated slot before screwing down the main PCB.
  3. Snap/glue the diffusion plate in front of the LED array.
  4. Secure the lid to close the assembly.
