Description
Not a 100% accurate scale model but a good representation for the size, I think. These mortars were carried by most infantry squads in British and Commonwealth service during WW2. They were used to create smokescreens as well as to provide indirect fire support for the riflemen in both attack and defence. The two-man crew would include the gunner and a loader, who would also carry extra ammunition.
It's pretty tiny, so I would definitely print in resin if you can. It might work in FDM as well if your settings are fine enough. Support will be key in either case.
Designed in TinkerCAD using information from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two-inch_mortar and the attached photo from Pintrest. Ruffhead95 designed a full-size model of the round - available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4832959 - which can be scaled to 1/56 to roughly match my model.
