Description
!!! The center part is printed upside down. The fan is supposed to extend downward and the flat part is mounted up against the effector. Mounted the wrong way around the partcooling fans will blow on the hotend instead of the part. !!!
2015-06-02: Added fan duct for 5015 radial fan. It's still a work in progress.
2015-05-03: All parts updated and 40 mm versions added.
All parts are compatible. You can use a 30 mm version as center with 40 mm fans on the sides or vice versa.
Center parts now has a cutout for a nut where the side parts are attached. I found that just tapping the holes wasn't enough and the sides would come loose after a while. Using a locknut solves this.
Holes to attach 30 mm fans are 2.5 mm so you can tap them and use a M3 screw.
Holes to attach 40 mm fans are 4.5 mm as these fans are usually shipped with bigger screws. These holes also work with the rubber antivibration holders that some fans (Noctua f.ex.) are shipped with.
I've tested all 30 mm fan holders and they work well.
As I'm still waiting for 2 more 40 mm fans I have yet to test the side version of the 40 mm fanholders. Right now I'm running a 40 mm center fan with 2x30mm side fans wich works well.
Remixed and combined 2 parts to get a fan-holder/mount for the Kossel Mini;

I've printed the parts in PLA and used kapton tape where needed to protect it from heat.
