Description
READ FIRST/DISCLAIMER: The goal of this design was to optimize cooling performance at all cost! That being said, you may need to remove the front panel of your printer. I'm using the Monoprice printer, which is similar to the Creator X, and I had to remove the front sound insulating panel. You might be thinking like "ehh..." now, but don't listen to yourself...just think, would you rather have beauty contest printer or beast mode printer?...that's a rhetorical question.
This is my mod on the amazing Active Cooling Fan Duct v2 by thruit00! I really like the design, but I felt like I needed even more air...or maybe I wasn't using the right fan? Anyways, I made an adapter that attaches a blower fan onto thruit00's design because there's no such thing as overkill.
About this design:
After testing many blower fans of different sizes and iterating the design many times, I realized that for the effort I was putting in, I better get some insane air flow or it wouldn't be worth it. Let's just say that when the fan is on, your extruder temperature should drop by about 5 degrees. As it is said in the ancient proverb, go big or go home.
