Description

This project looks at how to combine the immense strength of carbon fibre, with the design versatility of 3-d printing. The reinforcing methods described here are quite simple and require no equipment or experience.

Unidirectional carbon epoxy is one of the strongest structural materials, and has a tensile strength of about 150Kg per sq mm.
