T-Bone Racig RPM A-Skid Back Plate

This is a modified version of T-Bone Racings A-Skid plate clamps for the Traxxas Slash 4x4 RPM A-Arms.

After my first run with the T-Bone A-Skids I noticed one of the backer plate had broken after I had driven my RC around for about half an hour. Might be when I hit a small rock of insignificant size at slow speed.

So I had a closer look on the design and I would say it has 2 major flaws. First off the cutout in it produces 90 degree angles, and that's a weak spot. Second it wasn't long enough to join up with the skid itself, so tightening the screws too much and the clamp would start to bend.
