Description
The iconic A-10 Warthog,
…reborn in a post-apocalyptic world, prowls the skies(in this case, tables) like a retro mechanical predator. Its battle-scarred fuselage is adorned with Mcgyvered mods, plasma-infused autocannons and laser-guided missile pods on its back replace traditional armaments, while its titanium wings bristle with triangular sensor arrays.
This is no mere warplane—it’s a harbinger of high-tech destruction, slicing through the radioactive haze of a dying world. Print yours today!
With that nonsense description out of the way (:D), lets get down to brass tacks…
It takes 6 hours to print if using the kit method, 4 and a half to print in one piece. I expect no issues in printing it in once piece, although if using a bedslinger (A1 and A1mini for example) I would slow the print down manually about half way through, just in case. An xy shouldnt have any issues though.
Take your time removing the supports from the wing, a couple of wiggles with pliers will release it, go from the tip of the wing, and work your way down.
Assembly is easy, insert the pins, give it a tap and some super glue and insert… gently!
Press together and voila. The underbelly looks a lil bad, but the top looks better:
Thats about it… oh, there is also a booster available you can print and glue on top, for that extra ooomph! In general, silk filament may not be the way to go here, a black matte would look better. Also, my filament is wet as a swamp, and i dont have a drier :S
