LILLABO / Brio - Stone Brick Arch Bridge

This is part of a developing collection of parts for wooden train tracks, which can be found at this link. This model can be combined with the Infinite Causeway for more customization. 

 

This model is a small arch bridge. This was modeled to fit specifically with the Lillabo ramp pieces from IKEA. Designed to look like brick or stacked stone, with the bricks laid out as real brick layers would build it.

 

The slot is 41 mm wide and holds 40 mm tracks. Height of track is 65 mm from bottom of track at the peak, to match with the IKEA ramp pieces.  Other dimensions and clearances are shown in the photos, so you can check against your train sets for clearance before printing.  A printable replica ramp track is available at this link.

 

To Assemble:

1. Match pieces from Plate 1 to pieces from Plate 2 to make the two sides
2. Insert the Arches from Plate 3* to one of the sides.
3. Join the other side with the arches. 

* Note: There are two versions of Plate 3. 3a has permanent connection that cannot be disassembled easily without breaking it. 3b has slip-fit connections that can be disassembled. Only one version need be printed.

 

Printing Tips: Watch for bed adhesion on the first layer and lifting caused by warping on the skinny bits of the walls. Use glue or add a brim if you have problems.
