For art and music lovers alike, I designed this elegant music box inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night! 🌙✨ The lid features a detailed relief of the iconic painting, bringing its swirling skies to life in 3D. Simply insert a hand-crank music box, and let the melody transport you to a world of creativity and dreams. 🎵

No AMS is required—the print profile already includes pauses for manual filament changes, making it simple to achieve the perfect color contrast.

🔧 Assembly is Quick & Easy!

• Just screw the music box mechanism inside (You can buy it on Makerlab supplies)
• The Starry Night panel is printed separately for faster production and efficient material use—just glue it onto the lid!

🎨 Optimized for a 0.4mm Nozzle!

• Prints beautifully with a standard 0.4mm nozzle—no need for ultra-fine setups!
• Layer height: 0.20mm for the box, 0.08 for the top
• Infill: 8%
• No supports required.

At each pause, you had to simply change the filament

 

Start with Pla Basic Black (A00-K0-1.75-1000-SPLFREE )

At layer 9 switch to Dark Blue ( A01-B6-1.75-1000-SPLFREE ) 

At layer 14 switch to Pla Matte Sky Blue ( )

At layer 18 switch to Sunflower yellow ( A00-Y2-1.75-1000-SPLFREE ) 

 

For the box i used the PLA Basic Gray (A00-D0-1.75-1000-SPLFREE )

 

I finishing it covering with a transparent layer of paint to improve the result (you can also use a trasparent uv resin)
