Landroid M500 plus (WR165E) tire for front wheel

Here is the version one of my off-road tire replacement for Landroid M500 plus front wheel. 

With the ultimate goal of preventing the mower from sticking its wheel in the holes in my garden and after testing some models that need to be slipped on existent wheel but every times failed by moving and block the wheel, I decided to make my own version, bigger and wider that anything you can find. It's modelled to be a replacement of existing “ soft plastic tire” of the wheel.

My first tests give very good results !!! Wheel comes out easily from holes in my grass, which wasn't the case at all with “original tire”.

Considerations

Also you must consider that, as the tire is 8mm bigger in diameter, it adds 4mm to the distance from ground to mower, so grass height is a bit impacted.

The tire has 86mm diameter instead of 78mm and is 58mm wide instead of 38mm.

Versions

• Tread version: Which I tested and works fine in my garden, which is full of sand as I live near the ocean
• Soft version: Requested by reddit user, this version is soft. It has not been printed, nor tested but it should work fine. Let me know in comments if you tested this one and bring constructive feedback please

Instructions

To replace the tire, you need to remove the 3 screws of original tire, replace the part, then put the screws back.  Follow attached pictures…

Print was made with TPU rosa flex 96A

Tree Support 30°
0.2mm standard 3 walls 15% infill
