Bromine/Chlorine Tablet Floaty – Hot Tub Dispenser

Take control of your spa care with this custom-designed, 3D-printable chlorine or bromine tablet floaty, built specifically for PETG and optimized for hot tub use. There is a more robust cage for the tablets as well as a more fragile one that is harder to print.

This model is split into two halves with custom infill settings—a functional twist that keeps the floaty upright and balanced in water while carrying standard-sized spa tablets. The bottom half uses a denser infill to keep the weight low, while the top half remains light and buoyant for optimal floatation.

Designed for use in hot tubs and spas running up to 104°F (40°C) with bromine or chlorine sanitizers.

Print Recommendations:

• Material: PETG (recommended)
• Top Half Infill: ~10%
• Bottom Half Infill: ~60-100%
• Layer Height: 0.2 mm
• Supports: None
• Post-Processing (Optional): Seal with food-safe epoxy or polyurethane for longer life

Notes:
PLA is not recommended due to softening in hot water and degradation from sanitizing chemicals. This model was tested in a standard residential hot tub and remains stable for extended use.
