M3 Threaded Insert Hole Size Tester

Test model to test the fitment of M3 threaded heat set inserts. Useful for testing before ruining an important project. Hole sizes from 3.8 to 4.6mm.

One option for blind thru hole (allows you to put inserts in from underneath), other option has a 3.5mm wall at 6mm depth. All holes have 0.4mm 45deg chamfers on both sides.

Print files are for testing holes printed vertically in Z axis. Print on its side to test your X & Y hole sizing too.

My inserts fit best around a 4.2mm diameter, yours may vary.
