Description
A printable cup-style oil filter wrench that fits a standard 1/2" ratchet. The inside has 14 flutes to bite the end cap of common spin-on filters. Upload includes several sizes so you can pick the one that matches your filter. Knurled exterior gives extra grip if turning by hand.
See https://makerworld.com/en/models/1700791-oil-filter-cup-wrench-3-8-drive-many-sizes-14-cap#profileId-1803645 for my 3/8" drive design. I've added this ½" Inch option (along with stronger print profiles) after some users had issues with strength around the drive with the 3/8" options.
| Size (mm) | Typical Use (Make / Models / Filter Series) |
|---|---|
| 63.5 | Select Honda (Civic, Accord) spin-on filters; some older Toyota Corolla |
| 64 | Toyota, Lexus, Scion (most 4-cyl. & V6 engines with cartridge filters); some BMW motorcycles |
| 65 | Many GM vehicles (Chevrolet Cruze, Equinox) with PF-xxx series filters |
| 67 | Nissan, Suzuki compact car models; some Mitsubishi filters |
| 68 | Ford EcoBoost 1.0L / 1.5L filters; some Hyundai/Kia models |
| 73 | Subaru (2020+ Impreza, Crosstrek) and Volkswagen (Golf TSI) filters |
| 74 | BMW 1-, 3-, and 5-Series (N20/N26 engines); many European cars (Audi A4, VW Passat) |
| 76 | Heavy-duty trucks and SUVs — Ram 1500 Diesel, larger Ford/GM filters |
Make sure you have a 14-flute oil filter (14 is common but some makes use a different number).
Measure the cap end of your oil filter across the flats with calipers. Pick the listed size that is equal to or 0.5–1.0 mm larger than your measurement. If you’re between sizes, choose the larger one. (Example: a 73.2 mm cap → use the 74 mm wrench.)
